Coast and Pines is an intimate wedding and elopement photography business that works solely with couples who are after something intimate, authentic and non-traditional for their wedding day. We believe that there is no right way, or one way to celebrate your marriage. And instead your wedding day should be a true reflection of who the two of you are. Whether that means not following the traditions that don’t make sense to you. Or including your favourite activities that the two of you love to do together within your day. Or ditching the rules all together, and creating an experience that truly represents you. 

We not only document beautiful elopement stories, we help guide you through the process of eloping and show you whats possible! We take the time to get to know you on a deeper level so we can help you bring your dream to life and create a safe space for you to be yourselves on your day. 

From vendor recommendations. location ideas and scouting, timeline assistance, accommodation/venue ideas, to being your go-to supporters with 100% access to our brains and assistance throughout this process. We will show up on your day to support you, act as your 2 witness’ (if needed) and guide you through the scenes while also taking a candid, non-intrusive, story telling approach and providing you with timeless memories and imagery to cherish forevermore. We like to call ourselves, elopement photographers & guides. We wear all the hats to ensure you have the best experience possible.

About Linden & Vanessa

We are Linden and Vanessa, two lovers, elopement photographers and guides. We met through our mutual love of photography, and now together we photograph outdoor loving, non-traditional, laid back couples much like ourselves. We are most passionate about showing couples what’s possible for their wedding day and connecting with couples much like ourselves, who simply don’t feel aligned with the big and traditional aspects of a wedding day. 

When we’re not out photographing adventurous love stories, we can be found heading out on one of our own adventures. We love road trips, staying at cool airbnbs, going for bush walks, spending days at the beach. When we’re not on a great exploration, we can also be found at our local gym, walking our dog at our local beach or enjoying brunch at our favourite cafes. We love the simple things in life, and that’s why we so strongly connect to the simple, go with the flow aspects of eloping

Fun Facts

– We are both obsessed with dogs – and animals in general really. Will never say no to an elopement experience with animals present! 

– Linden’s obsessed with the ocean, photographing the wave formations, surfing and swimming 

– Vanessa is a mountain gal, and will happily hike 10k to a summit anyway

– We are extroverted-introverts who live for the quiet moments but love connecting with like-minded people

– Vanessa’s more bubbly and silly, will probably trip over every stick she encounters. While Linden is more reserved, but full of classic dad jokes.

Approach to Elopements

We are both very relaxed, go with the flow type of people. We live for the candid moments – the moments where you may not even notice we are there. We love to let you do your thing, but are always present to guide you and support you when needed.  

We believe true story-telling comes through, when we allow our couples to just be themselves. We want you to have photos that feel like you. 

So we will not only help you create an experience that represents you, we will photograph you in a way that allows your true personalities to shine through too.
