I’m a photographer, a husband and a Londoner who now calls Canberra home.

Over the last ten years I’ve had the privilege of photographing the adventures of hundreds of couples getting married around Australia and other parts of this beautiful planet.

I’ve always loved country weddings and natural settings and since moving to Canberra I’ve developed a passion for small weddings and elopements both in around the ACT. There’s something special about the spirit of adventure that inspires a couple to follow their hearts and do something a bit different. 

However you’re planning to wed, I’ll pour my heart and soul into capturing your celebrations with my signature photojournalistic style and creating authentic images that you’ll cherish forever.

About Milton

I’m a born and bred Londoner and spent most of my life with very little interest in weddings, although bizarrely I absolutely loved Four Weddings and a Funeral and used to watch it on repeat. Maybe that was a sign of things to come?

My perception of weddings completely changed when I moved to Sydney and realised that instead of stuffy church affairs, weddings could instead take place against pretty much any spectacular backdrop you could think of.

I became obsessed with turning my photography hobby into a new career as a wedding photographer and landed my first wedding in 2010. A year later I left the world of advertising to go full time and haven’t looked back since.

Aside from weddings I have an obsessive love of golf and a taste for single malts, and when we’re not in a global pandemic my wife Amy (who runs the amazing Mrs Fray bridal store here in Canberra) and I love to travel, explore new places, and enjoy fine food. We also have ambitions to eventually buy some land and build our own home.

Fun Facts

– Anywhere I live has to be within a five minute walk of good coffee.

– I used to be an aerobics instructor back in the day.

– I edit most of my photos whilst singing along to Pitch Perfect.

– The first elopement I shot was at the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

– Amy and I almost eloped to Iceland but instead settled for a small destination wedding in Byron Bay

Approach to Elopements

There’s no right or wrong way to get married and no certainly no requirement to stick to traditions, so go with what feels right for you and I’ll be there to capture your celebrations as they naturally unfold. There’ll be no awkward posing, just the two of you enjoying your best day ever as you explore your surroundings.
