Hi, I’m Chantelle—The Heart Behind My Dear Kathleen
My love for weddings started when I was seven, mesmerized by a bride in my dad’s restaurant. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for creating meaningful celebrations.
In 2010, my husband Chris and I eloped, choosing an intimate, laid-back day with just a few of our closest people. It rained, our plans shifted, but it was perfect—because it was ours. That experience shaped my belief that weddings should feel effortless, intentional, and true to you.
The name My Dear Kathleen is a tribute to Chris’s grandmother, a woman whose adventurous spirit and kindness continue to inspire me. Now, I help couples craft their own unforgettable moments—ones that aren’t about tradition or expectations, but about what truly matters.
Fun Facts
~ My favourite weddings is sunrise or Champagne brunches.
~ I love morning beach swims & I love playing goalkeeper at futsal, i also love horse riding and would love to do a trail elopement.
~ I have a spanish heritage and I grew up around shared foods on full table, good food, wine and laughs, just like your elopement should be.
