I have long been convinced that elopements are for the sentimental and wild-hearted. Elopements represent intimacy, sentimentality and a true focus on what is important. And what could be more important than looking at each other and committing to do this one wild and precious life together? I believe in capturing the magic of these days with authenticity. That means not just candidly capturing moments as they happen but capturing them with a focus on how each moment feels. You deserve a gallery that floods you with feeling. A gallery that reminds you of what it was like to be there, in that moment – not just a document of what happened. 

This is a business founded on inclusion and diversity with a belief that everyone deserves to have their story told and their love celebrated. About Caitlin

I am Australian born and raised but in 2014 I moved to the UK. I didn’t have much of a plan but to travel and see the world. 10 years later I found myself living in Scotland with my husband (we eloped too, by the way, it was dreamy) and toddler and missing home. Missing the lifestyle, the people and the scenery. I never intended to stay for so long. That’s why in November of 2024 we are moving back to Australia (husband and kiddo in tow) to settle on the Sunshine Coast.

I found my feet as a photographer in Scotland. I have always been one of those people with a camera in my hand. I am innately drawn to art believe in the power of being both creative and truthful so that’s why photography appeals to me so much. After I had my daughter (3 years ago) I started taking photography and running a business more seriously. Giving birth gave me clarity about what I am inspired by and that is human connection. Witnessing love is such an honour and privilege and I can’t believe I get to tell all these beautiful love stories.

Approach to Elopements

Working with you starts long before your elopement day. We keep an open dialogue from the point of booking right up to your elopement. You should both feel completely comfortable with me (after all – you are spending a big portion of one of the most important days with me) and I should have a good understanding of who you both are and your relationship so I can tell your story well. 

I’m here to call on for help with anything you need before your day – vendor recommendations, location scouting, timeline creation and anything else.

On the day I work to make sure you feel comfortable. I completely believe people look their best when they are in love – and you are in love, so you don’t need my help with that! I give you lots of space to just be together, be in love, be joyful. Lots of space to forget I am even there. Prioritising your experience and connection with each other should be a given (if not on your elopement day, then when?!). You just be together, and I’ll take care of capturing all the feeling, all the love and all the action.

Fun Facts

Ok! Some fun facts. 

– I’m vegan (is that a fun fact? What if I said I’m a fun vegan?)

– I’m an avid podcast listener and the range of genres is WIDE. Give me funny, give me philosophical, give me interesting, give me downright ridiculous.

– I always put pineapple on pizza (pineapple adds balance to the flavour profile and that is a hill I will die on)

– My two major genres of TV are house and design shows (like Grand Designs), and sitcoms. I like to call myself a sitcom connoisseur.
