Best Time of Year for a Brisbane Elopement
One of the best things about Brisbane is its climate. It is known to have some stunning weather all year round, with more than three hundred days of sunshine per year. The temperate doesn’t vary as much throughout the year as some other states. The average day-time temperate in Summer is around 29°C, while the average day-time temperate in Winter is still around 21°C.
It has a climate that is known as humid subtropical. And Brisbane is known to be a steamy and tropical climate by Aussies. Summers are long and humid and best spent by the pool or at the beach. So it has a humid climate all year round. 50% humidity is considered high and Brisbane sits at an average annual relative humidity of 66.8%.
There is a more pronounced wet season in Brisbane with thunderstorms common from November to March.
From purely a climate and weather perspective, the best time of year to get married in Brisbane is between April to October. Summer tends to be too hot and humid, plus there is the added threat of storms and rain.
My personal choice would be a winter wedding in Brisbane. It’s not too cold, it is not peak wedding season and the light is just beautiful in winter. So you will get beautiful photos and you have more location and venue options open to you.
