About Sarah Nerva

On August 6th and 7th, 1999 I married the love of my life Roderick Nerva at a Registry Office in Bournemouth and in a Handfasting in Sway, Hampshire, England.  

Nearly a quarter century later we are still going, stronger than ever. On our special day, we did it our way.

OVERSEAS RESIDENTS GETTING MARRIED IN AUSTRALIA

Australia has no residency requirements for marriage. Foreigners can marry as soon as they arrive providing they are free to do so. Before getting married both partners have to sign a declaration stating that there is no legal impediment to the marriage.  The Notice of Intended Marriage form can be sent to you, but it must be completed in the presence of an Australian Consular Officer.  Although a one calendar month is the standard time requirement, shortening of time can be applied for under specific circumstances.

I will offer a $50 discount of all bookings secured before the end of 2024.

Do you take mid-week elopements? How far out can they book? What areas?

I am happy to conduct mid week elopments in fact they are more economical and often easier to arrange, giving you more flexibility.  Weekend elopements are also available.  Bookings can be made up to 18 months in advance or booked with all paper work completed as close as 5 weeks from the event. Some travel fees may also be incurred dependant on location.
