About Elope With Us

Available for all types of weddings regardless of size or location, but specialising in elopements to adventurous & beautiful places – including picnic elopements & Sailing elopements. 

‘Elope With Us’ was designed to offer couples a range of affordable options for a marriage, while still being an extremely special experience for the couple & their closest friends/family.

Picnic ceremonies – An intimate ceremony followed by a relaxed picnic with your love, in nature

Sydney Sailing Elopements – An intimate marriage ceremony with your loved ones on the front of a yacht, followed by a relaxed afternoon of sailing, canapés & wine. 

Whitsunday Islands Elopements – Combine your Elopement & Honeymoon in the Whitsundays
The marrying couple & guests will be sailed around the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands, for up to 5 nights, on a private sailing boat.
The wedding ceremony can be held on the pristine white sand of a deserted island beach, or on the front of the yacht – surrounded by crystal clear, blue water. 
The remaining days can be spent either relaxing & snorkelling or adventuring, hiking & exploring this island paradise.

About Christianne Gilbert

I love being in nature & especially being in the sea. I want to share these special places with couples, on one of the most important days of their lives. 

I also love enjoying delicious food & wine & love sharing this experience with others. 

I worked as a snowboard instructor when I was younger, & for the last 7 years I have worked as a Veterinarian, which has been my passion since I was a child.

I am now wanting to spend more of my time outdoors again & have more work/life balance. There are so many exciting & beautiful places to see & experience & I feel that these locations are the best places to share vows with the person you love. 

My partner & I want to eventually travel the world on a yacht. I wanted to share my love of the sea, sailing & enjoying food & drink with other people, so we came up with ‘Elope With Us’.

Fun Facts

I love being outdoors & being surrounded by nature, so when I’m at home I like to spend time in the garden, growing flowers & food, & when I have time off I like to spend it away on adventures, camping in the bush or the snow. 

I love surfing, snowboarding, scuba diving, sailing & eating delicious food. 

I pretty much spend all of my time off & all my savings on travelling – to experience unique nature formations of the world & different cultures. I have lived & volunteered with animals in Brazil & can’t wait to experience more of the world.

Approach to Elopements

Weddings can come with a lot of pressure from families, to spend a lot of money, have everything immaculate, & to invite people whom you may not be close with or have otherwise chosen to invite. 

Elopements & micro-weddings are an alternative where you can celebrate your love with your partner, in the company of only your most favourite people & not be pressured to spend money on anything that you don’t feel is necessary. 

I provide options of a decorated arbour, bouquet, photographer, food & drink & the couple can decide how simple or fancy they would like their experience to be. 

I am happy to travel to whatever location you would like to have your ceremony – whether it be at a waterfall, up a mountain or your own backyard.

The best part is that there are no rules for elopements – your experience can be tailored specifically for how you want it to be. I am happy to create new experiences for couples exactly how they would ideally like their wedding ceremony to be & the possibilites are endless!

I fully support same-sex marriages & I also support couples who wish to have a pet at their wedding ceremony, as pets are part of the family for many people.

INDULGENT PICNIC ELOPEMENT – $1,650
Ceremony with decorated arbour & flower bouquet, followed by a picnic with grazing board +/- hand made canapes

ADVENTURE PICNIC ELOPEMENT – $2,250
Remote location such as a waterfall for ceremony, with a bushwalk to location, with decorated arbour, flower bouquet & picnic with grazing board +/- handmade canapes
