About Elope With Us

Intimate picnic elopements in nature

I have always loved being outdoors in nature & especially being around the ocean. My dream was to work with animals, so I studied marine biology & then veterinary medicine. While at University I worked as a snowboard instructor. I have been working as a vet in Sydney for the last 10 years & have lived & done volunteer veterinary work overseas in Brazil & Fiji. 

I am now wanting to spend more of my time outdoors & in nature, & have more work/life balance. The feelings that we get when we are immersed in nature are full of positivity & are beneficial to our health. There are so many exciting & beautiful places to see & experience. I want to take couples to these locations as I feel that these are the best places to share vows with the person you love, on one of the most important & memorable days of your lives. 

My partner & I want to eventually travel the world on a yacht. I wanted to share my love of the sea, sailing & enjoying delicious food & drink with other people, so we came up with ‘Elope With Us’. It is designed to offer couples an affordable wedding, while still being an extremely special experience for the couple & a few of their closest friends/family.

When I’m at home I like to spend time in the garden, growing flowers & food, & when I have time off I like to spend it away on adventures, camping in the bush or the snow (more of a challenge now with the baby!)

I love surfing, snowboarding, scuba diving, sailing & enjoying delicious food. I spend my savings on travelling- to experience the unique nature formations of the world & different cultures, & I look forward to experiencing more of the world.

For those who don’t want the expense & fuss of a traditional wedding, but still want a unique, special & memorable experience…


I will create an experience for you so that you don’t have to worry about the stress & cost of organising a wedding.

You will be able to fully relax, be present & really properly enjoy the day with your partner +/- close friends/family.

I fully support same-sex marriages & I also support couples who wish to have a pet at their wedding ceremony, as pets are part of the family for many couples.
