I offer legals-only ceremonies from $600 and boutique, personalised ceremonies from $1,000.

Mid-week Elopements

Mid-week elopements can be so special, and they often allow for quieter locations and easier travel. I offer a 20% discount for all mid-week (Monday-Thursday) elopements.

Weekend Elopements

I am happy to take elopement bookings on weekends, too! Please get in touch today to see if I am available on your preferred date.

Travel

Based in Chippendale (Sydney), I love to travel and am keen to meet you wherever you plan to get married. Mountaintop, coastal lookout, and everywhere in between I’m ready to pack my bags and join you!

My prices as listed include travel within the Greater Sydney region (within 20kms of the CBD). Additional fees for travel will be on a case-by-case basis and will be advised at the time services are quoted.

My name is Amanda (she/her), and I love being a commonwealth-appointed Marriage Celebrant because it allows me to meet and be of service to all sorts of incredible couples. What a joy and privilege to be part of such a special moment in two people’s lives!

That means that I approach your unique love story and the elopement you are planning with openness and the desire to exceed your expectations, whether you are hoping to keep things short and sweet or to create a customised ceremony.

About Amanda Proulx

I am originally from the States, so when we meet pardon the accent and Americanisms!

I live in Chippendale with my partner and I delight in being a celebrant for all of life’s moments (from baby naming days to funerals) – I just can’t get enough! I’m also a professional coach who accompanies people through career growth and progression.

I am a lot of other things, too, and I believe that we all have a unique story to tell. My hallmarks are joy, warmth, and grounded presence combined with a love for organisation and an eye for detail.

Fun Facts

I enjoy hosting gatherings for friends and family, and you can usually find me in the kitchen if I’m not leading a celebration of some kind! I cook a mean curry.

I love a good cup of coffee, a well-made cocktail, and catching live music gigs with friends.

Approach to Elopements

Whether you are eloping for the sake of having a private ceremony just the two of you or because you plan to have a big bash with friends and family later on, I believe that elopements can be magnificent, meaningful, and memorable experiences.
