Victoria (VIC) is one of Australia’s great states and one of the best locations for a small wedding or elopement.

Victoria is located on the southeast of Australia and it is the second-most populated state of Australia and the capital city of Victoria is Melbourne. Most of the population lives and works around Port Phillip Bay and Melbourne areas. But the entire state is beautiful for elopements.

Victorian Temperatures & Climate

There is a huge variety of climates and temperatures in Victoria, even though it is a relatively small state. Towards the north of the state, the temperatures are quite a bit hotter and drier than it is in the south. The South, particularly near the coast, can get quite cool. And compared to the rest of Australia, the southern part of Victoria is much cooler and wetter.

Summer (December to February) – the temperatures are warm to very hot.

Autumn (March to April) – mild with temperatures cooling down.

Winter – (June to August) – cold, chilly and crisp throughout most of the state.

Spring (September to November) – cooler but warming up.
