A secluded riverside homestead that harks back to yesteryear with timeless and quirky interiors.
Each room has lots of stories to tell through their curios and vintage finds. Attention to detail is obvious throughout the house with everything you need at your fingertips.

The Edwardian homestead has seven bedrooms accommodating up to 14 guests.
There are three bedrooms in the homestead and four in the original bluestone dairy.
Each has unique character and charm in abundance, and one caters for the littlest members of the family. The seven ensuites and bathrooms include bath linen and locally produced Grampians Goods Co. toiletries. Rooms all boast quality flax linen & woollen quilts.
Our country kitchen, dining room, snug, library and good lounge provide places to gather or to find some peace and quiet.

Ceremony

Our riverside property is exclusively yours.
Stay in the homestead and choose where to make your vows. Alongside the river, on the bank, or in the garden, you can make memories here.

If it’s a grey day, the Summer House nestled in our garden will provide an intimate, light filled space, or choose one of the beautiful rooms inside Stone Keepers Run.

Photo Location

The homestead is set on 4 acres, with a picturesque river bank, the manicured South lawn and the Paddock Hill overlooking the Hopkins River, all provide stunning backdrops for your photography.
The homestead also has many spaces to make stunning pictures.

Reception

Our dining room and Summer House are beautifully styled areas for your reception, if its just the two of you, or with your nearest and dearest.

A destination in itself, Stone Keepers Run is the perfect place to begin your married life together. Located on Kirrea Whurrung country, at the end of the Great Ocean Road, near Warrnambool Victoria.

Relaxed and intimate, your day will be curated just for you whether it’s just the two of you or up to 14 guests. Stone Keepers Run is a large country homestead, that is perfectly suited for your elopement or small wedding. During your stay, the property is exclusively yours. Take the time to be together and enjoy.

Wedding styling has long been a passion of ours, and over 20 years of work in this area gives us great insight into the wedding services in our local area.
We have close working relationships with many wedding vendors, and they are available to help you for your day.

History

Stone Keepers Run is a rural property, and the origins of the Run, date back to the 1840’s. The township of Allansford bears the name of the Allan family who founded Stone Keepers Run. The bluestone dairy, now converted into four bedrooms, was the original cheese factory in the area.
The homestead dates from the early 1900’s and is a large, but initmate homestead.
